directions.

Taipei–Sydney, Taipei–Melbourne and Taipei–Brisbane: Economy H, N; Taipei–Sydney also includes Premium
Economy E. Brisbane–Auckland: Economy H, N, Premium Economy E and Business D.
Redemption limits
Set as TWD amounts by route and cabin; the estimated AUD figures are on the route cards above. The limit
is a fare-discount amount, not a number of miles.
Eligible members
Adult Dynasty Flyer accounts logged in before booking on the China Airlines website. Only the logged-in
member's miles may be used. For multi-passenger bookings, each passenger's own membership number is
required. Corporate accounts cannot redeem directly.
Itinerary limits
One-way and return itineraries are eligible; multi-city and stopover itineraries are not. Tickets in
booking classes O, Z, X, L, G and S, and infant and child tickets, are not eligible.
What can be offset
Miles offset the fare only — not taxes, fuel surcharges, ancillary services, fare differences or booking
and ticketing fees. The full fare cannot be paid with miles; the amount that can be offset is that shown
in the booking system.
Not combinable with
This offer cannot be combined with other designated promotions or channel offers, including:
- Promotion code offers
- Student offers
- Bank offers
- Corporate ID offers
- Birthday offers
Refunds and changes
For a completely unused ticket, miles that are still valid on the date of the refund request may be
returned in accordance with the rules to the member account used for the original booking.
For partially used tickets, miles already redeemed are not refunded. Refunds and changes remain subject
to the fare rules of the ticket purchased.
When it takes effect
The redemption takes effect once payment is successful.

This promotion doubles the value of existing miles used towards fares; it does not double miles earned from flying, and miles cannot be exchanged or withdrawn for cash. Actual redemption is as announced on the China Airlines website and shown in the booking system. China Airlines reserves the right to amend, suspend or terminate the promotion and its terms.
Frequently asked questions
Does this promotion double the miles I earn when I fly?
No. It doubles the value of miles you already have when used towards a fare: about 80 miles for every AUD 1 off, instead of the usual 160. How miles are earned from flying is unchanged.
Can I pay for the whole fare with miles?
No. Miles can offset part of the fare only, and do not apply to taxes, fuel surcharges or other ineligible charges. The amount that can be offset is shown in the booking system.
How is the redemption limit calculated?
Limits vary by route and cabin, and apply per one-way journey. On Taipei routes in Economy, for example, a one-way journey can be offset by up to about AUD 132, which takes about 10,500 miles; a return itinerary by up to about AUD 264, which takes about 21,000 miles.
Are the AUD amounts on this page exact?
They are estimates at a fixed reference exchange rate of TWD 1 = AUD 0.0440. The rate and amounts used by the booking system may differ, and the system's result applies.
Can miles be converted to cash?
No. Miles may be used towards eligible fares only and cannot be withdrawn or exchanged for cash.
Can I combine this with other offers?
No. It cannot be combined with promotion code, student, bank, corporate ID or birthday offers, or with multi-currency payment.
Can one account's miles cover several passengers?
Only the logged-in member's miles may be used, and each passenger in a multi-passenger booking needs their own membership number. Corporate accounts cannot redeem directly.
Are miles refunded if I cancel?
For a completely unused ticket, miles still valid on the date of the refund request may be returned in accordance with the rules. For partially used tickets, redeemed miles are not refunded. Fare rules still apply to refunds and changes.
